Since day one, we passionately care about our Planet Earth and take conservation and environmental issues seriously in our daily operations. For us, luxury shouldn't be equivalent to harmful consumption and we are committed to improve our climate footprint by embedding sustainability in the guest experience and promoting slow travel.
Sustainability cornerstones
We look after our staff, our customers, our community and our environment in the following ways.
We choose to collaborate with local small businesses when it comes to our daily operations (cleaning and laundry services, maintenance, food and beverage, experiences)
We implement preventive maintenance within the property to ensure the efficient operation and energy usage
We use eco-friendly cleaning products
Waste management: we try to consume as few resources (printing paper, stationary) as possible by digitalizing most of our processes
Energy Efficiency
We only use energy saving LED light bulbs
We fit key card energy reduction systems in all guest rooms so even if guests forget to turn the energy off it will be shut down after a couple of minutes automatically
We remind guests through the use of in-room signage to be rational with the usage of energy during their stay
We control lighting in common areas by timer switches
We train our employees in Environmental Awareness and best practices

All furniture was designed and made in Italy
We use as little plastic as possible in operational areas and our food and beverage selection
We use glass cups, porcelain dishes and metal cutlery throughout
Our bathrooms contain natural toiletries in refillable dispensers from brands that promote waste reduction, responsible sourcing, biodiversity and fairness in their manufacturing
We don't distribute slippers, shower caps, one-time usable or travel sized amenities and we ditched plastic water bottles
We return used Nespresso pods to the shop’s recycling point
